  4. I am seeking alternative sites to youtube on which I can view and, hopefully, download to dvds German Schlager and Volksmusik to add to my collection.

Many years ago I bought CDs and DVDs on visits to Germany and, later, found I could obtain German television music programmes on my receiver which was only bought for Sky Sport the subscription for which was discontinued when our sons left home and, since have recorded selected songs from tv music programmes. Recently, I found such music could be found on youtube but until a few weeks ago have only discovered a successful means of downloading videos.

I also subscribe to German monthy magazine ‘Meine Melody’.

I was advised about 123video, which I think is a Dutch site, but have not been successful, so far, in finding the music I seek and to find if it can be downloaded.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Kind regards
